The wig is on the way. I’ll shave my head and wear it permanently. Wigs today are undetectable, and worn 24 hours a day, including in the shower. It’s removed to wash the scalp every few weeks, and might need replacing after 7 months. My hair now is in bad condition – very receded hairline, big bald spot on the back, gray and thin on the sides.
Next month I will get upper and lower eye surgery. This will help with heavy dark bags under the eyes, and the drooping eyelid skin, as well as tighten up the skin.
I’ve looked into facial fillers, and decided on stem cell augmented fat transfer. They take your own fat, treat it, and inject it into your face. This lasts longer than most synthetic fillers and it’s said that the procedure also tends to cause the skin itself to look better. As we get older the face not only droops and wrinkles, but it loses fat. I used to be chided for my baby face chipmunk cheeks in my teens, and now I’m all gaunt and have silly putty skin.
I’ve ordered shoe insert lifts, as well as two pairs of platform shoes – one a casual shoe style and the other a fisherman’s sandle. My footwear will add over two inches of height above regular shoes, bringing me up to at least 5’10 (actually 5’11 in shoes, but everybody gets an inch in shoes). I’ll even have the option to be 6 feet tall in shoes, without the platforms being noticeable.
I do home teeth whitening, and will do it professionally. I may also get ceramic dental veneers.
I’ve experimented with make-up. It makes a big difference and is basically undetectable. Could be useful on occasion, especially for photo shoots.
Late this year or early next I plan to also get eyebrow hair transplants. I may get an upper and even a lower face lift.
Right now I’m dieting; eating a high protein meal once a day, to get rid of a protruding belly. I was starting to look pregnant. On gym days I don’t eat until after the workout.
My business plans are moving forward, and soon I will start to hire and interact with models, as well as the prettiest of the general public. I’m working on improving status, as well as access.
I will not go gently into the night, and at fifty it’s starting to get mighty dark. I’ve never been a looker and always had a tough time competing against taller and more attractive men, but as time goes on more and more girls consider themselves well out of my league.
I have some leads on my phone that I don’t want to meet until I look much better than I do now. I should have much better odds in about two months.

Well, good luck! Write about the results. These things can be tricky it seems, but if anyone has done the research well it’s you.
Actually, a lot of things people see as insurmountable due to a lack of information can be rectified by a few hours of online research. Like moving to another country. Or how to start working out at the gym – took me a total of eight hours of reading at Bodybuilding com’s forum. I didn’t know anything about which exercises to do, how much to do them, how long breaks to have, what to eat and how much. Seemed insurmountable for a long time, until I sat down to really plow through the info. Same with improving your face, I guess.
But I’m still in my thirties, so this will remind me even more to stay away from alcohol (easy) and sugar (hard).

At your age, how much is financial compensation a factor in attracting women? Just planning for the future, quite serious question.

I’m not sure. One of my girlfriends makes all her own money. She’s 24 and smart, and was a virgin. Not sure how long I’ll be able to keep her, as she is very troubled by me seeing other girls, and doesn’t believe my lies about not seeing anyone else. And at this point it’s a long distance relationship. She’s shown no signs of pushing for marriage or babies, although she is still very infatuated and I’m sure would be thrilled to marry me. I suspect she’d support me if she absolutely had to.
Another of my girlfriends I support, but extremely frugally. Food and a cheap apartment, and basic needs. No savings, one small ring.
I broke up with two other girls. One I had not given anything to financially for a few years. The other I supported.
I have one girl I spent a few days with who want to see me more, and when we talked about finances I said that I’d prefer to help her by working together on some businesses, and she liked that idea.
Unlike a lot of guys, I have nothing against supporting a woman, if she’s putting in the hours to support me. It takes a great deal of time and attention to attend to a man well, and besides, youth and beauty is in itself a valuable commodity. People are willing to pay for cable TV, but they are unwilling to pay for companionship? That makes sense if it’s similar aged companionship, and both are old. Young pretty girls are in high demand, world wide. We all know what supply and demand means.
Or do we? Guys often get offended at the very idea of part of the value trade being financial. They think it means that other parts of what they offer must therefore be diminished, if they have to also fork up hard earned cash.
Well, maybe. Or maybe the character traits that can lead to an abundance of provisioning power are itself hereditable, and so also a sign of GENETIC fitness. Ambition. Future time orientation. Discipline. Vigorous and constant drive. Intelligence. Social and sales skills. Not only is it a matter of that a girls got to eat, and so may as well spend time with a guy with money, but it’s also quite often the case that a girl is more physically aroused by a man with money. This is a testable hypothesis, and it has been tested. Women orgasm more for wealthy men, for one thing. And they get more wet in the vagina when looking at THE SAME picture of a man, if before hand they were told that he is rich.
I’m looking quite worse year by year. I do need money to compensate. Both to increase my SEXUAL attractiveness, plus to simply increase a woman’s overall lifestyle.
Living in SEA it’s been a negligible expense to me to support girls. I can support a girl for a month for less than some guys spend on a single night on the town. I’m able to be that frugal because my girls tend to get emotionally deeply hooked. If they kick and scream and pout and demand more money, I tell them to shut up or leave. They shut up, and they don’t leave. But more money will help, and I’ll need more of it as I grow older.
Tenet said:
What is the monthly rate for that cheap apartment for the girl? How much approximately would a month’s worth of basic food in SEA cost? Trying to see how much it costs to support a girl there.
xsplat said:
From $USD 300 to 700 for one person to live modestly. For reference the last time I rented an apartment for myself I paid $700 per month including utilities. Apartments can be found for $100.

I’ve been reading your blog for about 3 years now. Really great. It’s one of the reasons I moved to Thailand ( I work online ).
Have you considered doing TRT along with HGH injections. Say 200MG ( I do 250 ) of testosterone enathiate per week with about 2iu of HGH per day ( can boost it to 4IU if you don’t get sides )
A hormone regimen like that would make a world of difference for a 50 year old man. You just have to do the research, understand what each one does ( hormones are like a sea saw, fuck with one another moves down/up ) and learn how to combat common minor sides. Using them blindly is what leads to all the people saying “omg it fucked me up”.
xsplat said:
Good to hear you’ve found value in the blog. Yes, I do do hormone replacement therapy.

X, I curious why you getting all the plastic surgery. Do you feel that you’ve hit the wall and can’t get girls without it. A friend of mine had a face lift in his 40s. Where are you going to get the work done? Who is good and how much does it cost? I’m sure I’ll need it too one day. I need to drop my weight now.
xsplat said:
Definitely hit the wall. It hadn’t mattered much, because I had 3 girlfriends in one city, who I would take all at once traveling with me to Bali, where I had another girlfriend. Now I’m down to 1.5 in Bali and 1 in Java.
Even 10 years ago I would have been better off with a wig and the blepharoplasty. When I was in Thailand I was so low down on the totem pole of sexual attractiveness that many bargirls would ignore me; I could not even pay for it if I wanted to.
My face is a train wreck now. It needs work. I’m just glad that the work is possible, affordable, and likely to help.
About the height, I measured myself the other day and was shocked to learn that I’ve shrunk over a full inch seen my teenage years. People all start shrinking by about age 30, but for a man to lose a full inch by 50 is probably ahead of the curve; usually it takes until 70 for a man to lose that inch. Women lose two by 70. So that means that my lifts only bring me back to slightly above what I was, which is still short by the standards of western youth.
The upper and lower eyelid surgery will cost under 2 grand – maybe $1500. I’m doing it in Indonesia. After that I’ll inject my face with abdominal fat, which is rich in stem cells. It’s superior to using synthetic fillers, and is said to also help to rejuvenate the surface skin. There are other things I can do to improve my facial attractiveness after that, such as eyebrow hair implants, lower face lift, or even chin augmentation. The chin augmentation is intriguing. My current chin is perfectly fine, however a bigger chin is a sign of more neonatal testosterone, and should broaden my appeal. At my best when young I’ve been described as cute; never handsome.
The procedures vary in cost depending on where they’re done – even within Indonesia. The fat transfer might be 3k. I’ll likely wait at least 6 months between surgeries. v
My wig arrived two days ago, and last night I shaved the top of my head and cut and fit it. The color match is perfect. It’s a big life change to rely on the toupe. I’m quite pleased with it so far. Today I’ll glue it down and style it. Wigs are the new gym. If you see https://www.buzzfeed.com/kimberleydadds/42-celebrity-men-who-are-less-bald-than-they-used-to-be?utm_term=.wjM5dg1PD#.xiMy5AaJR you’ll find that it’s impossible to compete in todays marketplace without a hair piece. Older men need it. I assume nearly all of us.
Like I said, I would have been better off starting all this quite a long time ago. I didn’t bother as I was coasting on the bonds that I’d developed with my girls. I probably could have done better for myself had I taken the expense and bother.

X, thanks for your honesty. I’m older than you and shorter. I have talked to guys over 50 who say they are ignored by the girls for even P4P. A friend who is 60 can’t get any girls. He found a young girl who is his GF and is now with her only. I’m lucky that I have not hit the wall yet. I still have most of my hair, but have been dying it since my mid 30s. I’m almost all gray. I need to lose weight and exercise. I don’t feel height is much of issue in SEA because everyone is so short. When I can’t get the girls, I will probably get a hair transplant first. Thanks for the link of celebrities. Thanks for letting me know where I can get the procedures done and the prices. I don’t plan on going into old age gracefully.

I got the hair piece styled today. I’m thrilled with it. It’s undetectable.
At first it looked off, but I just shifted it up a cm on my forehead, and now it looks natural. I’ve set the hairline to be a tad higher than the recommended 4 fingers. So now I’ve got a full head of hear with just a slightly receded hairline.
Just the hair plus the lifts is a good improvement. Tomorrow morning I have two doctors consults to see about the blepharoplasty.

Great news. The best doctor that I could find works at both private clinics and the government hospital. Prices in the government hospital are about half of the clinics. I’m getting the upper and lower eyelid surgery done for just $1000, and next month will get a facelift for just $1250. Amazing bargains.
It has been quietly grating to always be the ugly old man. Always the ugliest and oldest in a group. All my girls friends always telling the girl that I’m too old and ugly to date and to leave me. When I go out with friends they get they eyeballs while I’m completely invisible. Year after year like that. It’s annoying.
The first surgery is scheduled for next week. One month later I’ll get the facelift.
The doctor said that I don’t need the fat transfer filler for my face, but I disagree. I’ll get around to that later in the year.
JakeS said:
That sounds cheap! Is that in Java or Bali?
xsplat said:
Java. Yes, extraordinarily cheap.

I met a girl tonight (a smart and funny platonic friend) who I had not seen in two years. She remarked that I looked younger.
She kept trying to figure out why, but did not notice that I’m wearing another human’s hair on my scalp.
Wednesday is the eye operation. As soon as possible after that I’ll get the face life. By next month I’ll be rejuvenated, and have much broader appeal.
JakeS said:
I wish you the best of luck! I know you’re not going to be posting before or after pics, so maybe I’ll have to come over and see for myself. I’m starting to get interested in a face lift, but I really do wonder about noticeable scarring.

Whenever I get a painful procedure, such as a root canal, or tooth extraction, I dose up on a combination of tramadol (plus low dose naltrexone) and valium and alcohol. The blepharoplasty was done under local anathetic, and there was no pain at all. I was very relaxed throughout the whole thing, chatting with the doctor at times. It was actually fun.
It will be some days before I get to see the results. As of now my lower eyelid is stretched open, which looks odd. Hopefully it won’t remain that way. I’m not feeling any soreness.
Eleven days from now I will get the facelift. That’s done under general anasthesia.
After that I plan to force myself to spend at least $500 per month on clothes, using style guide websites as aids. I was inspired in that direction by this post http://thisistrouble.com/2016/10/03/5-lessons-going-from-ugly-to-sexy/ . I’ll start by visiting a recommeded tailor in Bali. I think I’ll get into the habit of wearing sports jackets – probably linen.
I’m happy with the toupe, and will continue to explore options with that. I’ll buy several and style them differently.
I’ve found that guys with average or above average looks have a great deal of cognitive dissonance and denial about how poor looks affect a man’s life.
Even if when I go out with a buddy he gets all the attention and I’m completely invisible, he’ll just refuse to accept the impact that poor looks have on my life. Yes, of course, I can and do get and keep girls – sometimes young and hot. But my options are extremely slim. I can’t get interest in a club, on the street, or online. Except very, very rarely. I’m so tired of being the ugliest guy in the room – every single time. The only guy in the crowd who women will not fuck.
Guys who don’t believe that this is true only have to think of the fat ugly chick in the group of girls. Guys have standards – that chick isn’t going to get fucked. Girls have standards too.
So that’s why I’m going to do every possible thing that I can to improve my appearance. I’ve got the hair, and it looks fine. There is still some room for improvement, but it’s not bad. I’ve got the lifts in my shoes. I’ll order other shoes and sandals with the platforms built in. First surgery is done. A few more procedures will help even more; a face lift, a fat transfer to fill out the cheeks, and hair transplant to bush out the eyebrows. Then it’s on to style. That will take years of learning and purchasing.
I’ll not only be back in the game, but quite likely back stronger than ever.
I should have done this 12 years ago.

After I get my looks sorted, and my finances are more solid, I plan to travel the globe in search of cool guys.
I’m not just going to go hunting chicks. I’m going to hunt and find and befriend men of high of caliber to become true buddies. That’s a thing by the way. It’s been studied that it’s a rather rare type of relationship, that often takes years to cultivate. It’s a type of pair bond between men. Not every man has even one buddy. Some have several. I think it’s an important thing. I also think it’s a difficult thing to get – perhaps as difficult as finding a good enough woman to live with.
So I’m going to eventually travel and make friends world-wide. But I’m most interested in high quality guys. And yes, guys who can pair bond – it will be an automatic disqualification if a guy is not interested in or capable of being in long term romantic love. I no longer trust the dismissive avoidant attachment style guys.

It’s the day after the around-the-eyes operation, and I’m mood-lifting happy with the results.
This improve-my-looks project is going well.
Today an attendant went shopping for me and three out of seven items were keepers.
Tomorrow I’ll visit a recommended local tailor. I’ll be looking to choose fabric and styles to make sports jackets, shirts, and pants. I have linen and silk in mind.
This last adjustment might come off as try hard or eccentric or over the top. But I have a background in hypnosis that began at age 12, inspired by my fathers background. I’m going to experiment with using colored contacts. Wolf eyes will aid in mesmerism.
I’ll have the clothes and face and hair and lifts and wolf eyes all in place by early next month, when I have a large event in which I’m the big wig major presenter with support staff and cool tech to show off.
I will also have modeling opportunities to offer. That’s important to me, as I have less than zero day game skills. I need to be able to fumble around with some lame offer.
